I woke up this morning, bright and early, to take our pup Rex out for his daily hike. I grabbed the leash and my new Jansport 5th Avenue Fanny Pack (available at Peace Frogs Travel/Outfitters, of course) and was out the door in 5 minutes, hands free but still fully equipped with dog treats, a plastic bag, my house key, my phone, and a few other essentials.
When I returned with my fanny pack snugly cinched around my waist, my husband said, “1985 called and it wants its fanny pack back.”
I told him to hang up on 1985. It’s 2013, and the fanny pack is as relevant and useful as ever.
